When responders arrive, they should already know the building
Secured My School's mission is to make schools safer during emergencies. We document the inside of school buildings and put that record in the hands of the law enforcement, fire, and EMS agencies who would respond there, so responders know the building before they ever need to. This work is funded by grants, partnerships, and donations, and provided at no cost to qualifying schools.
What we do
We work with school districts and community organizations to create accurate interior building documentation for emergency response, facility management, and preparedness planning. The record is delivered to the district and to the agencies that would respond to that address, and we train the people on shift so it is actually used when it matters. Grants and donors cover the cost, so qualifying schools pay nothing.
